Behind The Grit | Episode 6 | Lawyered Up

When starting out on the path of entrepreneurship, you will need to consult an attorney for a variety of reasons. Notice I said NEED. As a business owner, not consulting an attorney for your business filings, contracts and to protect your brand and business is not an option, it is a necessity.

This podcast is not about consulting and retaining attorneys for launching my business. In this episode, I reveal why I had to consult and retain 9 attorneys in the early years of launching my business, and I share private details as to how each attorney protected me.

This was not an easy episode to open up on, I had to fully let down my guard and relive many tumultuous moments of my recent past. The message I want to impart today is to trust your intuition, don’t review your own contracts and always seek legal advice when it comes to business and matters of the heart.
